Mapley Vermont Maple Cream pint. Made with Vermont maple sugar.
Vermont

Maple Cream

Vermont maple sugar

We add Vermont maple sugar to the base for a clear maple flavor and light caramel sweetness.

The story behind Maple Cream

Our signature flavor is inspired by the Vermont maple creemee. The modern tradition took off at the 1981 Vermont State Fair, when Rutland County sugar makers asked a local dairy to swap the usual sugar in its soft-serve mix for real maple syrup. It was an instant hit.

Coffee Milk

Rhode Island coffee syrup

Rhode Island coffee syrup brings sweet coffee flavor to our milk-and-cream base.

Coffee milk has been Rhode Island’s official state drink since 1993. It combines milk with coffee syrup; add vanilla ice cream and it becomes a Rhode Island cabinet. Our Coffee Milk brings that familiar flavor to a pint, made with Rhode Island coffee syrup.

Simple by design

Our base has four ingredients.

Great ice cream does not need a long base recipe. It needs excellent ingredients, careful recipes, and close attention to every batch. We source locally from New England producers and pasteurize every base ourselves in New Haven.

01

Milk

The creamy foundation.

02

Cream

Richness and body.

03

Sugar*

Just enough sweetness.

04

Nonfat dry milk powder

More milk, concentrated.

*We use sucrose, dextrose, and glucose, as in Italian gelato, to balance freezing.
